Technische Universität Dresden is offering Maria Reiche Postdoctoral Fellowships for the academic session 2024/2025. The educational program is designed to empower exceptional female postdocs as they strive to independently secure third-party funded projects. This initiative is aimed at aiding them in their journey towards establishing a distinguished scientific career at TU Dresden, ultimately with the ambition of attaining a professorship.

This fellowship provides to support and you will receive a full-time fellowship for up to two years in order to develop your unique scientific profile  and to submit an independent research proposal to an external funding body for a third-party funded project that will pave your way to a professorshipTechnische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden) is one of the largest and most prestigious technical universities in Germany. Maria Reiche Postdoctoral Fellowships in Germany Established in 1828, Technische Universität Dresden (Dresden University of Technology) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium-sized city of Dresden (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Saxony. Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: Open to eligible female researchers (Open to all nationalities)
  • Acceptable Course or Subjects: Any subject offered by Technische Universität Dresden
  • Admissible Criteria: Applicants must:
    • Be female early career researchers.
    • Have completed their doctorate no longer than six years ago.
    • Have completed maternity leave and parental leave(s) within the six-year timeframe, if applicable.
